MET Institute of Pharmacy (MET IOP) comes under the Mumbai Education Trust. Mumbai Education Trust has a group of colleges. The MET Institute of Pharmacy was established in the year 1993 with the two-year Diploma programme in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.) recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education. The four-year Bachelor's programme in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) affiliated to the Mumbai University was started in the year 1994. The MET IOP is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.

For admission to B.Pharm, the candidate must obtain a non-zero score in MHT-CET or NEET entrance exam, followed by the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State CET Cell. MET IOP B.Pharm Fee is INR 1,88,500 Lakhs for the first year.

MET Institute of Pharmacy Admission 2026

MET Institute of Pharmacy admission is conducted as per the norms by the Government of Maharashtra through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates seeking admission must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria and qualify in the required entrance examinations.

Admission to the B.Pharm programme at MET Institute of Pharmacy is open to Indian candidates who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as subjects.

Applicants must have appeared for all subjects and obtained a non-zero score in MHT-CET 2025 (for Maharashtra candidates) or a non-zero positive score in NEET 2025.

Selection is done through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra. The total intake for the B.Pharm course is 60 seats.

Admission to the D.Pharm programme at MET Institute of Pharmacy is offered to Indian nationals who have passed HSC Science with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Mathematics or Biology.

The selection for D.Pharm admission is carried out through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) as per the rules of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
