The candidate can choose any song of your choice of the level that describes his/ her best performing ability. He/ She will be assessed on accuracy, technique and stylistic elements
The candidate will be given the chord chart and asked to work it out for performance. The backing track will be used for your improvisation. (Scatting for vocalist)
Basic intervals and triad recognition. Identifying changes in rhythm, melody or pitch
Questions will be asked to assess the candidate's aptitude. This will be a non-technical round.
