- The JNTUA Kalikiri admissions are based on the merit rank obtained by the qualified candidate in the entrance test of AP EAPCET or based on any other order of merit approved by the JNT University, Anantapur/AICTE (under PMSS), subject to reservations as prescribed by the AP Government from time to time or any other guidelines provided by the AP state higher education.
- The qualified candidates will need to attend the centralised counselling process conducted by the convenor of AP EAPCET to get admission into the engineering branch offered by this institution. Seats will be filled by the Convenor, AP EAPCET. No seat will be filled under the management quota, and there will not be any branch changes once admissions are completed.

- The college has various facilities: the administrative block, academic block, library, workshops, canteen, guesthouse, staff quarters, dispensary, auditorium, etc. The Central Library has a total of 788 titles and 6539 volumes. - The library and digital library function from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. to facilitate computing and internet facilities beyond the working hours. All the laboratories and workshops are fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
- Every department is provided with seminar and conference halls. The auditorium has a 540-seat capacity for conducting international conferences. The entire campus is networked (including hostels and staff quarters) through wired and Wi-Fi internet connectivity, and the campus is under surveillance of closed-circuit cameras.
