GKCIET Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology (GKCIET) offers a developing placement program, with the college focusing on strengthening industry connections. It provides on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives with reputable companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS, and Oracle visiting for placements. The institution reported an 80% placement rate for its initial B.Tech batch, with an average package between 6 to 7 lakh per annum, while diploma students received an average package of 4 to 5 lakh per annum.

The highest package recorded was 7.5 lakh per annum for a diploma student. The placement cell assists students with training, CV preparation, and interview readiness. Additionally, various internships are offered from the fourth semester onwards, with students gaining experience at companies such as NTPC, IOCL, and Webel, and fields including food technology, mechanical, and electrical engineering seeing significant placement activities. The college is working towards improving placement opportunities, with the government planning to convert it into an autonomous body under NIT, which is expected to further enhance recruitment prospects.
