CIPET: Institute Of Plastics Technology Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The semester exams were conducted by BPUT, which is the affiliation body to CIPET. Considering the difficulty of the terms, the paper was averagely difficult and could cause problems for average students. The faculties are generally on guest modes. Some of them are exceptionally good while some are just for namesake. Despite being a central government body, the campus has very poor academics as well as a poor administration.

The college placement is decent according to the fees of the program the placement is worth the money. The college placement record is 100%. the placement committees help the student during the placement drive. Around 75+ companies visited the campus during the placement drive in the campus. I was able to receive a package of 9.50 LPA. The highest package for our batch was 11 LPA and the average package is around 7 LPA.

From the 7th Semester, the students are eligible for the placement rounds. It is preferred not to have a backlog by then. Also, the placement criteria depend upon the company that comes. An average annual CTC of 5 lakh per annum is being given. Our seniours have got 5.5 lakh from the college campus itself. Also, the placements are increasing day by day. Some students have also got more packages by enrolling themselves Out Campus Placement procedure. A good 7-8lakh package. My plan is to be prepared for both the campus as well as the out campus placements. Companies like Lohia corp. ltd, Sterlite Techologies, Adverb Technologies and others. The placement percentage is above 90% and the rest for higher studies.

Our college is one of the best among any other government college. So it will be totally irrelevant to talk about it.
