Symbiosis Medical College for Women (SMCW) is the first Medical College in the country that offers free medical education to five top-ranked girls' students. Five female students who place first on the NEET Merit List and are accepted into the college's MBBS program each year are given the Dr. Anandi Gopal Scholarship by the college. Ques. How can someone apply to the MBBS program at SMCW?

Ans. You must take the NEET-UG exam and receive a high score in order to be admitted to SMCW. You must attend MCC counseling (All India Quota) after the release of the NEET results. There's no other way to secure a seat here. Since the college does not offer management quota or direct admissions, all admissions must go through the formal process.

Ans. There are 150 seats in total. Out of these, 127 are for general Indian applicants, and the remaining 23 are for NRI/OCI/PIO candidates. These numbers can vary slightly depending on government or university notifications.

For qualifying for NEET, students have to score a minimum of 50 percentile for UR (unreserved) and 40 percentile for SC (scheduled castes)/ST(scheduled tribes)/OBC (other backward class) category. The final cut-offs will be decided after counseling.
