School of Dental Science is one of the many schools of Sharda University, a prestigious self-financing university in the heart of Greater Noida region. It was formerly known as Hindustan Institute of Dental Sciences and was established in 2006. The courses are approved by the Dental Council of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi.

School of Dental Science, Sharda University BDS Admission 2026
Sharda University – School of Dental Science offers a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery (BDS) program to eligible candidates pursuing higher studies in the field of dental science. The basis eligibility criteria for admission to the program is a pass in 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the compulsory subjects.
Candidates are further required to score at least 50% marks in all the above four subjects combined. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of marks/ rank secured in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by CBSE. Candidates who have qualified the entrance test must attend its respective counselling where seats are allotted based on the candidates’ NEET score.

The School of Dental Science, Sharda University offers postgraduate programs in the field of dental surgery. The institute currently offers MDS programs in about seven specializations. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these programs is a BDS degree. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of marks/ rank scored by the candidate in NEET MDS.
