Chidambaram Pillai College for Women, Trichy was established in 1999 in Mannachanallur, near Trichy. It is affiliated to Bharathidasan University. It was founded by Trustees, Thiru. Sidambaram Pillai, Thiru. Periyanna Pillai and Thiru. It is the self financing college which was meant exclusively for girls from rural areas who do not have the means to study in the colleges. The college is situated in greenery and calm surrounding covering an area of 10.01 acres.
