In India, 3 major banking exams are conducted by the State Bank of India (SBI), the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), and Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Bank Exam Pattern
- Recruitment in Government banks is usually done in 3 stages of the recruitment process.
- The first 2 phases are written tests, called Pre and Main; and the last step is the Interview process.
- The shortlisting of candidates is carried out at each stage: Pre, Main, and Interview rounds.
