    MBOSE has declared SSLC Result 2020 on July 20, 2020, at 10 Am on the official website. Candidates will be able to access their results by using their roll number mentioned on the admit card. MBOSE HSSLC Result for Arts Stream was announced on July 13, 2020, at the official website. The Candidate's original Marksheet and certificates will be provided later after the reopening of the respective schools. The Meghalaya Board of Education had announced the results of HSSLC for three streams i.e. Science, Commerce, and Vocational Streams on July 09, 2020.  Check Here Meghalaya Class 10th  Board Results

    • The Pass Percentage of SSLC Regular Students is recorded at 75% while the overall passing percentage is 50.31%
    • A total of 30, 690 students had appeared for HSSLC 2020 examination for Science, Commerce and Vocational Stream. This year, the pass percentage in Science Stream is 72.24% and the pass percentage in Commerce Stream is 77.28%. While the pass percentage in Arts Stream is 74.34%.
    • The candidates who failed and want to reappear are suggested to download the application form and submit as per the directions of the institution which they have selected earlier.
    • In 2020 the board examinations for class 10 were conducted from March 4 to March 16. Foreign nationals of Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar will also be appearing in the MBOSE-HSSLC examination. Over 3700 students appeared for HSSLC 2020. 

    Meghalaya Board of School Education(MBOSE) is the state board of Meghalaya that conducts the examinations for class 10 and 12 every year. Students are required to fill the application form in offline mode with the directions of the concerned schools.     Steps to Check MBOSE SSLC and HSSLC Result Online

    MBOSE SSLC and HSSLC results have been declared online on the official website. Candidates can access their result by entering the board roll number and date of birth. The steps to check the result online are mentioned below:

    • Visit the official website of the Meghalaya board - mbose.in
    • Click on the Results option at the top menu bar of the homepage.
    • Click on ‘SSLC/HSSLC 2020’
    • Select Exam and enter the board roll Number and then click on Submit.

    MBOSE Result Analysis

    MBOSE SSLC Result Analysis-2020

    • The Pass Percentage for MBOSE SSLC regular students recorded at 75% while the overall percentage is 50.31% including regular, private with test and private without test.
    • A total of 41.29% private students passed Meghalaya SSLC exams while 25.29% were promoted without exams. 
    • This year, 75% regular candidates have cleared the MBOSE SSLC exams. Out of which 21,381 students who appeared for the exams, 16,035 students have been declared pass. The number of students wo cleared six subjects include 10,852, while 5,183 students passed in five subjects.

    MBOSE HSSLC Result Analysis-2020
    The Meghalaya Board HSSLC (Arts Stream) result was declared on July 13, 2020. Results for Science, Commerce, and Vocational stream were declared on July 09, 2020. For Arts Stream, the pass percentage stands 81.93% of students from the regular-stream. Whereas, the students who appeared for MBOSE HSSLC Exam 2020 under non-regular mode the overall pass-percentage is 35.22%. 

    • The highest marks secured in HSSLC Science, Arts and Commerce Stream were 468, 428, and 445 out of 500 respectively.
    • The overall state topper was from the Science stream with 468 marks out of 500.
    • The pass percentage of the candidates in the commerce stream was 77.28%. While the overall pass percentage of Arts stream was recorded at 74.34%.
    • The overall pass percentage of girl students was 85.84% and that of boys was 76.45%

    MBOSE SSLC and HSSLC Supplementary Exam

    Candidates who are unable to clear one or two subjects in MBOSE SSLC/HSSLC Results 2020 can appear for supplementary exam. The supplementary examination forms will be applied through the candidates respective schools only. Private candidates have to apply for the supplementary exam through their exam centers only. The board will conduct the Compartment exams in the month of August 2020 (Tentative). The results for supplementary papers will be released along with the regular results. Candidates who appeared for supplementary papers are supposed to check the results online on the official website. The steps to check and download the results will be the same as regular results. The original board marks sheet for the supplementary examination will be available in the concerned school.

      MBOSE Rechecking and Re-evaluation

      The board will release the scrutiny application form after the declaration of results. Candidates who are not satisfied with their class 10th or 12th results can apply online for scrutiny by entering the details of their candidature and the concerned subjects. For this, students have to submit application fees for re-evaluation. It is to be submitted wile applying for re-evaluation.The school authorities shall also direct the students to apply for the scrutiny. If a candidate wants to apply for scrutiny of the results then it can be made by filling up the scrutiny form.

      MBOSE SSLC Application Form

      Meghalaya Board exam application forms are released for both the regular and privately appearing candidates. Regular candidates are advised to fill the form as per the directions of school authorities. The candidates who are appearing privately(failed candidates) are required to submit the pre-printed forms in the month of October. Final submission is only done if candidates pay the required registration fees during the registration process carried out by the concerned schools.

        MBOSE Exam Pattern

        MBOSE SSLC Exam Pattern

        All the subjects in MBOSE SSLC include both practical and theory part. Marks in practical/internal sections are based upon the performance of the candidates in the internal examination. 20 marks have been allotted for practical and the remaining 80 marks for theory i.e. written examination in every subject except vocationals. In vocational subjects the total marks for practical/internal assessment is 70 and the written examination carries only 30 marks.

        MBOSE HSSLC Exam Pattern

        The exam pattern for MBOSE HSSLC is similar for all the streams and the maximum marks for a subject is 100. The subjects are divided as Science, Commerce, Arts, Vocational, Modern Indian Language and an elective language.

        • The questions are framed in both multiple choice and descriptive form
        • The duration for the written examination is 3 hours 
        • The vocational stream has four papers in which two papers are of 45 marks
        • Time allotted for the vocational stream is two hours.

        Candidates are required to collect MBOSE HSSLC/SSLC admit card from their school. However, the admit cards are available online on the official website for the candidates who are appearing privately. Admit cards will be available in the month of February and it can be downloaded using the application form number and date of birth. It shall be noted that only the privately appearing candidates will download the online admit card with reference to the direction to the concerned institution.
