PSEB 10th Pass Percentage: Year-wise Trends

Punjab Board Class X pass percentage has shown a steady declining trend from 2022 to 2026. The exceptional rates from 2020 and 2021 resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic, when exams were cancelled and most students were passed without written papers. From 2022 onwards, with regular exams resuming, pass rates normalised to the 94–98% range.

Girls consistently outperform boys. In 2026, girls passed at 95.96% compared to boys at 93.23% — a gap of 2.73 percentage points. PSEB 10th Grading System 2027

PSEB assigns letter grades to students based on marks obtained in the Class X exam. The grade and grade points appear on the official marksheet. Your CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is the average of grade points across all 8 subjects, and you can estimate your approximate percentage using the formula: Percentage ≈ CGPA × 9.5.

To pass the PSEB Class X exam, you must score at least 33% in the overall aggregate and a minimum of 33% in the theory component of each subject separately.
