The result of Uttarakhand Board 2020 was declared on July 29, 2020, at 11:30 am. The examination was conducted from March 2 to March 25, 2020. Some of the exams were postponed due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The rescheduled exams were conducted from June 20 to June 23, 2020. Uttarakhand Board Class 10 Result
A total of 150289 candidates appeared for Uttarakhand Board senior secondary exam. The overall pass percentage in class 10 was around 76%. The exams which were earlier cancelled due to the pandemic were conducted in the third week of June. Nearly 700 candidates failed to appear in the exam because they were stuck in the containment zone. The board allotted average marks to those students who did not appear in the exam. In the academic year 2020-21 the application form for the exam is likely to be released after December 2020.
Uttarakhand Board Class 12 Exam
In the class 12 exam nearly 121126 candidates appeared in which 80.26% candidates were successful. Around 300 candidates did not appear in the rescheduled exam due to the pandemic as they were in the containment zone. Such students were allotted average marks for those subjects, similarly as class 10 marking scheme. The highest marks i.e. 96.60% was secured by Beauty Vatsal. All the results were declared on July 29, 2020.

Uttarakhand Board Marking Scheme
The minimum marks required to pass in a subject in Uttarakhand Board is 33%. This year the marking for a lot of students has been done on average marking scheme and internal assessment marks. The aggregate marks required to pass the examination is 33%. In the subjects which have practical section 70 marks is for written and 30 for practical. The final marking is done on the whole and 33 marks is required considering both theory and practical section.
Uttarakhand Board Exam Pattern
The total marks of the exam is 500 and 100 marks is allotted for each paper. There are five papers in class 10 in which the fifth one is optional. The four compulsory subjects includes one language paper i.e. English. The fifth subject can be selected from the available options like Painting & Drawing, Sanskrit or Hindi language etc. In class 12 there are four compulsory subjects including English. The fifth and sixth subject can be selected from the available option like Physical Education, Economics(optional for Science stream), music, Mathematics(optional for commerce stream) etc.

The syllabus for senior and higher secondary level can be downloaded from the official website. The board has mentioned the entire syllabus along with the scheme of board examination. All the optional subject’s syllabus are also mentioned and for music the board has bifurcated all the streams. For example, Hindustani Music-Gayan, Hindustani Music- Mailadik Vaadan and the Hindustani Music-Parksan Vaadan all three are separately mentioned. Candidates are advised to follow the syllabus prescribed by the board only.

Uttarakhand Board Revaluation
If any candidate is not satisfied with the result the S/he can apply for revaluation of the answer sheet. The students have to submit an application form along with application fee to their schools to start the process. Students have to pay Rs.100 /- per paper for the revaluation of UK Board 12th result 2020. After the rechecking of the papers, the Board issues scrutinized UK 12th result as a PDF file which includes the roll number of students whose marks are changed after rechecking. The updated mark sheets are then sent to their respective schools.
Uttarakhand Board Compartmental Exam
Those students who are unable to clear the board exam in the first attempt are given another opportunity by means of the compartment exams. The date sheet of UK Board 2020 compartment exams will be published on the official website of the exam. The application forms are approved via the respective schools for compartment exams. This year the board decided to conduct compartment exams for the students who applied only for a single subject. They were not declared as pass and are supposed to appear in the compartment examination. Candidates are suggested to visit the official website for notifications regarding the exam.

Ques. Which exams were postponed due to the pandemic?
Ans. The postponed exams were conducted from 20th to 23rd June 2020. The subjects included Mathematics, Sociology, Punjabi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Biology, Agricultural Chemistry Agricultural Maths, Geography and Geology.
Ques. When will the supplementary exam be conducted for Uttarakhand board?
Ans. There is no official notification regarding the Uttarakhand board supplementary examination. The candidates who applied for a single paper only and did not pass the exam were declared eligible for supplementary examination.
Ques. When will the mark sheet of UK Board 2020 be available?
Ans. It is predicted that the mark sheet will be issued by the first week of August to the respected schools. However, the schools will be able to distribute the mark sheets to the students when it reopens. Ans. The board has not released any notification yet regarding the 2021 exams for senior secondary or higher secondary level. It is expected to be released by the end of the current year. However, the classes are suspended and the notification may be delayed due to the situation of the country in context to the pandemic and the lockdown.
