    University of Trier International Admissions

    There are several additional requirements for international students along with the general requirements which are the same as the German applicants.

    Admission Requirements for International Students

    Language Proficiency Requirements for International Students

    The university offers courses in German. International applicants are required to prove their proficiency in German in order to be admitted to the university in any programs other than English- language masters courses. The DSH - 2 German Language Examination for University Entrance Certificate has to be submitted by the applicant.

    English language proficiency has to be proved by students applying for admission in English taught masters courses. Students who do not belong to an English- speaking country or have not got a degree in a course of at least 2 years taught in English will be required to prove their proficiency in English for the same.

    Visa Process for International Students

    The selected applicants will be issued an Admission Letter from University of Trier after which they can apply for visa by completing the visa application. Students will be required to book an appointment with the German embassy in their country.
