Programs, Campus, and Residence

  • Comprised of 11 faculties, the University of Regensburg offers more than 150 majors in the fields of medicine, law, theology, social sciences, information and humanities, chemistry & pharmacy, physics & mathematics, and biology.
  • The university hospital ranks at the top of University clinics in Germany. Six special research areas at the University of Regensburg are supported by the German Research Society.
  • The University of Regensburg offers double-degree undergraduate, traditional undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs.
  • Official accommodation for university students is provided by the Studentenwerk. International candidates need to send their housing application to the International Office. Private accommodation is available too.

University of Regensburg Tuition & Other Costs

The University of Regensburg does not charge its students any tuition fee. However, studying in Germany is not inexpensive, and international students need to keep in mind other costs such as food, accommodation, travel etc. Additionally, the university charges its regular students a semester fee of approximately 145 EUR, which needs to be paid twice every year.
