    • There are over 100 programs offered by the University of Rostock through its nine different faculties.
    • They offer all kinds of courses from undergraduate to Ph.D. in a wide range of subjects. They include law, education, arts, education, medicine, linguistics, humanities, etc.

    University of Rostock Admission Process

    Applying for admission at the University of Rostock requires some additional things if you are an international applicant. Read on to get a gist of the application process of Rostock.

    Admission requirements: Except for the state examination programs of Human medicine and Dentistry, the requirements and process for applying to bachelor's degree courses are the same.

    After the online application, the following documents are required to be submitted to UNI-ASSIST in the form of officially certified copies

    • Officially certified copies of all certificates of previous education
      • (Secondary school, possibly university entrance examination, subject, and grade overviews of previous studies)
    • A full resume
    • An officially certified copy of evidence of sufficient German language skills
      • Varies according to the course of study applied for
    • Officially certified translations of all evidence into German or English
    • Data on your previous university history (sum of the semesters, university semesters previously studied at German universities or universities of applied sciences)
    • University degree certificate or average performance level confirmed by the examination office
    • Proof of the paid fee at UNI-ASSIST

    Application deadlines:

    • Students can start applying from May 1 to July 15 of the year.
    • The deadlines vary from program to program for the Faculty of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

    University of Rostock Cost of Attendance

    • At the University of Rostock, currently, no tuition fees are charged.
    • However, students must pay the mandatory semester fee of currently approx 202.50 EUR per semester. The semester fee consists of the following:

    • The cost of living in the city of Rostock is comparatively lower than that of other German cities.
