It was founded in 1978 with the goal of holding the youth in the right direction from dropouts in school/college and making them dependent on themselves. SC/ST/BC/EBC/Minority communities belong to destitute women, physically handicapped individuals, to generate job opportunities for trained unemployed youth by offering skill-based training either to get wage employment or self-employment. It was initially started with two training centers, i.e. at six courses at Mothigally & Purani Haveli, with a stipend of Rs.60/- per month per applicant at free cost from 1979-1980 to 1984-1985. In collaboration with the Institute of Public Enterprises (IPE), O.U., computer courses were implemented. By collecting fees ranging from Rs.1000/- to Rs.5000/- depending on the type of courses during the years 1985-1986.
