I wanted to study abroad and in my opinion Europe countries were the best in terms of living and education standards. So, I started looking for a good university there and found my program in UCC and a couple of more universities, hence I applied to all of them. Although I was selected in a total of 3 universities, I choose to study here because it is among the top universities in Ireland and in Europe as well. I had to pay €50 as the application fee as I applied through the Postgraduate Application Centre.

    Course Curriculum :

My one-year program was an integrated course applying economics to the business environment. It was designed in consultation with leaders from the business community and public sector organizations, this unique course equipped me with the key skills for career development in the ever-changing business world. It also provided me with a good foundation for further study at PhD, DBA or professional development level. It was a research-orientated course, which was both theoretically grounded and evidence-based. The focus was on analyzing, understanding and explaining business performance in a competitive environment.

I decided to go to Ireland for my studies as my parents thought that a degree from here will benefit my career. My father also had a friend living in Ireland, whom he consulted before sending me there and as his so also goes to UCC, it would be great if I applied there too. I did as they suggested because University College Cork is among the best global universities. To apply here, I had to submit my application form through the online portal COA for €45.

    Course Curriculum :

My BSc program is providing me an education in data storage, manipulation and interpretation using mathematical sciences and computational methods to solve complex real world problems. As of now, I've studies the mathematical and computational foundations of data science and analytics along with applying the fundamentals of data science and analytics to real life problems and data. In my last year, I'll be choosing specialized modules and undertake an independent project which will enable me to investigate more applied elements of the discipline.

The main reason why I chose this college was that because they had a very relevant course, I thought the course was amazing. There's also a similar course in UCD, but I didn't want to go there because I thought the modules were more relevant to what I wanted to learn, and they had an internship as well in the end, which is usually given by the university. So I therefore preferred this university over any other college. I saw in Ireland.

    Course Curriculum :

in my opinion the course curriculum and the academics is very good, although it is very hectic and it is very hard to stay up to date with them because they provide with a big assignments and it's very hard to catch up with them. The syllabus is good, but it is very difficult. However, and also have some very technical specific courses, which can be a little difficult until you don't have specific experience.

I wanted to do a course which was only one year of time, and Ireland and UK with only options that do offer this kind of opportunity. I wanted to go to UK, but I realized that there is more competition over there. And in terms of Ireland, there's less competition in, in, in specially financial field. This code university I like because the fees was less, and they had more good placements, than any other university in Ireland.

    Course Curriculum :

overall experience with this course is actually very good. I think we have a very good curriculum. They focus a lot more on finance, and they also offer focus on coding. So we studied a lot of specific languages which can be used in current field. So even if you don't want to go into the financial background they give you a general idea of a lot of other fields, so that you are free, so that you are free to go into other pieces. Once you are done with this course.

The research institute I received acceptance is working in the state-of-the art Thermoelectric materials and device development, which is my area of interest. Also, Ireland being an English speaking country, It was an easy choice for me

    Course Curriculum :

Courses are good and of high standards. As part of my PhD programme, I only needed 30 credits.
