  • The University offers 120 UG and 130 PG programmes, respectively, across 8 faculties. Interestingly, the students can pursue 2 undergraduate courses simultaneously by choosing ‘conjoint programmes’. The most popular majors offered by the university include Arts, Engineering, Law, Science, and other allied courses.
  • Additionally, students are provided with outstanding research opportunities and doctoral grant up to 27,900 NZD.
  • The University has 4 main campuses at City Centre, Epsom, Grafton and T?maki, and 3 satellite campuses at Leigh Marine Reserve, Manukau and Tai Tokerau.

University of Melbourne Admission Process

  • Application: Fill the online application form or download, fill and post the form.
  • Application fee: 85 NZD (UG); 100 NZD (PG). Application fee is not required for students applying through a registered agent.

          UG Courses: Semester 1: October 1-December 8, 2018; Semester 2: July 4, 2019

          Graduate Courses: Semester 1: October 1-December 8, 2018; Semester 2: April 1-July 4, 2019

  • General requirements: Official academic transcripts, official programme completion certificate, mark sheets, relevant course outline

Accommodation Cost

The average weekly cost for students staying in the residence halls is 380–480 NZD. A shared flat or a private flat may cost up to 120 NZD and 180 NZD, respectively.
