AIIMS New Delhi has released the BSc Nursing Hons 2026 Round 1 seat allotment at aiimsexams.ac.in. Allotted candidates must accept the seat and report to the assigned AIIMS institute by August 17, 2026 or forfeit their seat.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Nursing (BSc Nursing) 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result on the official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in. Shortlisted candidates can now log in and download their allotment letters. The seat acceptance and physical reporting window closes on August 17, 2026.

Candidates who filled choices between July 31 and August 6, 2026 were considered for this round. Allotment has been made on the basis of merit, category, choice preference, and seat availability at the participating AIIMS campuses.

Seat Acceptance Options for Allotted Candidates

Every allotted candidate must select one of the two online options within the deadline. The choice decides whether the candidate stays in the process for Round 2 or exits with the current allotment.

Option 1 (Freeze): Accept the allotted seat and exit from further rounds of counselling.
Option 2 (Upgrade): Accept the allotted seat but stay in the pool for a possible upgrade in Round 2.

Candidates who miss the deadline lose the allotted seat. They also become ineligible for subsequent rounds of counselling.

How to Check AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment?

Visit the official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.
Click on the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 counselling link on the homepage.
Log in using the candidate ID and password used during registration.
Open the Round 1 seat allotment letter on the dashboard.
Download the allotment letter and save a printed copy for reporting.

How to Report at the Allotted AIIMS Institute?

After online seat acceptance, candidates must report in person at the allotted AIIMS campus. Reporting must be completed on or before August 17, 2026. The admission fee of Rs 5,000 is payable at the time of admission.

Documents required at the reporting centre include the Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates, a valid photo ID, the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 scorecard, the allotment letter, category certificate where applicable, and passport-size photographs. Admission stays provisional until document verification is cleared at the allotted AIIMS.
