Candidates can check the result on the official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in. The result covers admission to MSc courses for the August 2026 session. Allotted candidates must accept the seat and report to the allotted institute by August 3, 2026.

The seat allotment list has been published in PDF format on the counselling portal. It names the candidates who have secured a seat in the first round. Selected candidates must log in to the online seat allocation portal. They must then choose one of the options offered within the deadline.

The allotment list is available as a downloadable PDF on the official portal. Candidates must follow the steps below to check their status.

Visit the official AIIMS exam portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.

The seat allotment PDF will open on the screen.
Search for your name or roll number using the Ctrl plus F option.
Download the PDF and save it for your records.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat and Report to the Institute?

Seat acceptance is a two-step process. Candidates must first accept the seat online. They must then report physically to the allotted AIIMS institute.

Log in to the AIIMS counselling portal using your credentials.
Click on the seat acceptance option shown on the dashboard.
Select one of the choices, such as freeze, float, or upgrade.
Pay the prescribed security deposit through the online payment gateway.
Download the allotment letter and the seat acceptance receipt.
Report to the allotted AIIMS institute with original documents by the deadline.

Documents Required at Reporting

Candidates must carry the following original documents along with two sets of photocopies.

AIIMS MSc 2026 admit card and scorecard.
Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates.
Qualifying degree mark sheet and provisional certificate.
Category certificate, if applicable, in the prescribed format.
PwBD certificate, if applicable, from a designated authority.
Valid photo identity proof issued by the government.
Recent passport size photographs matching the admit card image.
Printed allotment letter and seat acceptance receipt.

What Happens If You Miss the Deadline?

Candidates who do not accept the seat by August 3, 2026, will lose their allotted seat. Such candidates will not be eligible to take part in Round 2 counselling. However, they can still register for the Open Round of counselling. The Open Round is held after Round 2 is complete.

Why This Matters

The Round 1 allotment window is tight at just three days. Missing the August 3 deadline directly blocks a candidate from Round 2. Only the Open Round remains as a fallback for such candidates.
