Allahabad University has released the PG merit list 2026 and started online counselling at ecounselling.in. Shortlisted candidates must register, upload documents and pay the seat acceptance fee before 5 PM to secure allotment.
The University of Allahabad (AU) has released its postgraduate (PG) merit list 2026. Online counselling is now underway on the official portal at ecounselling.in. Shortlisted candidates can log in and check their seat allotment status. They must complete registration, document upload and fee payment to secure admission.
The counselling covers all PG programmes for the 2026-2027 academic session. Candidates whose names appear on the current cut-off list must act within the allotted day. Failure to pay the fee by 5:00 PM will cancel the allotment.

How to Check the AU PG Merit List 2026?
Candidates can view their name and rank on the merit list online. The steps below explain the process on the counselling portal.
- Visit the official portal at ecounselling.in.
- Click on the PG Counselling section on the homepage.
- Open the current cut-off link for your programme.
- Locate your roll number and check your merit position.
- Save a copy of the list for your record.
How to Complete the AU PG Counselling 2026?
The counselling follows a three-step online process on the portal. Each step must be finished within the daily window given by the university.
- Registration: Sign up on the portal using your PGAT credentials and create a login.
- Document Upload: Log in and upload scanned copies of certificates and photograph.
- Fee Payment: Pay the counselling and seat acceptance fee online before the cut-off.
Documents Required for Verification
- PGAT 2026 scorecard and admit card
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- Qualifying degree mark sheets and provisional certificate
- Category certificate issued in Central Government format, where applicable
- Passport-sized photograph and scanned signature
- ABC ID generated using the university guideline document
Fee Payment and Reservation Rules
The university accepts fees only through online modes on the portal. Payment can be made via net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. Offline payments are not accepted during the online counselling.
Reserved category candidates must upload a valid certificate on the portal. The certificate must be issued strictly in the Central Government format. State-format certificates are not accepted for reservation benefits here.
The university has stated that fee payment closes at 5:00 PM daily. Candidates who miss this cut-off will lose their allotted seat for that round. The seat will then move to the next eligible candidate in the list.
