Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada has opened the Phase 2 web options entry for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) seats under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ) for the AP NEET UG Counselling 2026-27. Eligible candidates can now access the facility on the official portal at drntr.uhsap.in.
The notification applies to the second phase of CQ counselling for BDS admissions in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who did not get a seat in Phase 1, those who opted for the free exit, and newly eligible applicants from the merit list can take part in this round. The option entry is to be completed through the dedicated portal at apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in.
NTRUHS conducts the AP NEET UG counselling for MBBS and BDS seats in state medical and dental colleges. Admissions are based on the candidate's NEET UG 2026 merit position. The Phase 2 round is a fresh choice-filling window where candidates must list their preferred colleges in order of priority.

Who Is Eligible for Phase 2 Option Entry?
The Phase 2 web option facility is open to a specific set of candidates. The eligibility conditions are listed below.
- Candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 with a valid scorecard.
- Applicants listed in the NTRUHS provisional final merit position for BDS CQ seats.
- Candidates who did not secure any allotment in Phase 1 counselling.
- Candidates eligible to participate after the Phase 1 free exit process.
- Newly added applicants following merit list revisions, wherever applicable.

How Seat Allotment Works in Phase 2?

The web option entry process is completely online. Candidates must complete their preferences before 10:00 AM on October 8, 2026.
