The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued a fresh counselling notice. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Lateral Entry (BCECE LE) 2026 choice filling window now closes on July 23, 2026. Candidates can lock preferences at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in before this date.

The board released Advisory No. BCECEB(BCECE[LE])-2026/08 on July 17, 2026. The earlier last date for choice filling was July 21, 2026. The two-day extension applies to lateral entry engineering counselling.

Who Is Eligible for BCECE LE 2026 Counselling?

Only candidates who qualified BCECE LE 2026 can join this counselling. They must hold a valid rank card issued by BCECEB. The available seats are for lateral entry admission to the second year of engineering courses.

Participating institutes include Bihar government engineering colleges. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women’s Institute of Technology, Darbhanga, also participates in the counselling process.
