Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 1 Admission Deadline Extended to September 1 at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in; Check Official Notice

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026 Round 1 document verification and admission deadline. The revised last date is September 1, 2026. The notice was released through Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/04 on the official portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

Round 1 document verification and admission began on August 27, 2026. It was originally scheduled to close on August 31, 2026. The one-day extension gives allotted candidates a final window to complete the process.

Candidates who secured a seat in the Round 1 allotment must report at the allotted institute in person. They need to carry all original documents and self-attested photocopies. Missing the September 1 deadline will lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.

Courses and Seats Under UGMAC 2026 Round 1

The Round 1 allotment covers admission to state quota seats in medical, dental, veterinary, and fishery science courses. These seats are spread across government and private institutes affiliated to BCECEB.

Documents Required at the Allotted Institute

Candidates must carry originals along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Institutes will not admit any candidate with incomplete papers.

• NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard or rank card
• UGMAC 2026 application form printout (Parts A and B)
• Round 1 seat allotment letter
• Class 10 and Class 12 certificates with mark sheets
• Bihar residential or domicile certificate
• Aadhaar card
• Six passport-size photographs matching the NEET admit card
• Counselling fee payment receipt
• Transfer certificate and character certificate from the last institution
• Migration certificate if Class 12 was completed outside Bihar
• Gap year certificate or affidavit if applicable

How to Complete the Round 1 Admission Process?

The process must be completed in person at the allotted institute. Online admission is not accepted at this stage.

1. Log in at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in using UGMAC credentials.
2. Download the Round 1 seat allotment letter.
3. Arrange all original documents and self-attested copies.
4. Report at the allotted institute on or before September 1, 2026.
5. Complete document verification with the admission committee.
6. Pay the institute admission fee and security deposit as demanded.
7. Collect the admission confirmation slip from the institute.

1. Download the Round 1 allotment letter today from the BCECEB portal.
2. Verify the allotted college name, course, and category on the letter.
3. Prepare originals and photocopies of every document listed above.
4. Keep the fee amount ready in a demand draft or as instructed.
5. Reach the allotted institute well before the September 1 cut-off.
6. Retain the admission slip and fee receipt for future counselling rounds.
