Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 1 Admission Deadline Extended to September 1; Check Official Notice

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026 Round 1 document verification and admission deadline. The revised last date is September 1, 2026. The notice was released through Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/04 on the official portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

Round 1 document verification and admission began on August 27, 2026. It was originally scheduled to close on August 31, 2026. The one-day extension gives allotted candidates a final opportunity to complete the admission process.

Candidates who secured a seat in the Round 1 allotment must report in person at the allotted institute. They must carry all original documents and self-attested photocopies. Missing the September 1, 2026 deadline will lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.

UGMAC 2026 Round 1 Important Dates

Courses and Seats Under UGMAC 2026 Round 1

The Round 1 allotment covers admission to state-quota seats in medical, dental, veterinary and fishery science courses. These seats are available across government and private institutes participating in the BCECEB counselling process.

Documents Required at the Allotted Institute

Candidates must carry original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Institutes will not admit candidates with incomplete documents.

• NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard/rank card
• UGMAC 2026 application form printout (Parts A and B)
• Round 1 seat allotment letter
• Class 10 and Class 12 certificates and mark sheets
• Bihar residential or domicile certificate
• Aadhaar card
• Six passport-size photographs matching the NEET admit card
• Counselling fee payment receipt
• Transfer certificate and character certificate from the last institution
• Migration certificate if Class 12 was completed outside Bihar
• Gap year certificate or affidavit, if applicable

How to Complete the Round 1 Admission Process?

The admission process must be completed in person at the allotted institute. Online admission will not be accepted at this stage.

1. Log in at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in using the UGMAC credentials.
2. Download the Round 1 seat allotment letter.
3. Arrange all original documents and self-attested photocopies.
4. Report at the allotted institute on or before September 1, 2026.
5. Complete document verification with the admission committee.
6. Pay the institute admission fee and security deposit, as applicable.
7. Collect the admission confirmation slip from the institute.

1. Download the Round 1 allotment letter from the BCECEB portal.
2. Verify the allotted college, course and category mentioned on the letter.
3. Prepare the originals and photocopies of every required document.
4. Keep the admission fee amount ready in a demand draft or through the mode instructed by the institute.
5. Reach the allotted institute well before the September 1, 2026 deadline.
6. Retain the admission confirmation slip and fee receipt for future counselling rounds.
