Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College (BBSBEC) result 2021 is out for UG and PG Semester exams. Students can visit the official website to check or download the result from the online portal. The College conducts entrance exams as well for the admission process and releases the entrance test results after 15 days of completion of exams. 

BBSBEC Jalandhar conducts its examination on Odd Semester and Even Semester basis. Even Semester exams are held in the month of June, whereas odd semester exams are conducted in the month of January every year. The end semester practical examination is conducted by a board comprising one internal and one external examiner. 

Admission into various courses is done on the basis of different entrance tests.   • Under the section, click on the login
  • Log in with your student id and password
  • Students can find their exam results on the next page

BBSBEC Revaluation Result 2021

If the students are not satisfied with their, then they can apply for revaluation. For that, they should collect a revaluation form and a fee challan from the Examination Branch of the college. After depositing the required fee (Rs.700/- per subject) in the OBC Bank, the students should submit the filled-in revaluation form along with a copy of the bank challan in the Examination Branch. This should be done within 10 days of the declaration of the results for the relevant details to be uploaded in the university portal.

The students can check their revaluation results by following the same steps to check the regular semester-end exam results. They only need to login to their student id and check the concerned result. It should be noted that students failing the end semester examination could re-appear for the same with the next batch. That is, even after the revaluation process, a student fails, then he/she can reappear for the exam with the next batch. For which, the students must fill in the required form along with the other regular students and submit it on time.

The results of the SRE can be checked on the college website under the ‘Admissions’ section. Following are the easy steps to check the result:

Ques. What is the marks weightage followed by BBSBEC?

Ans. BBSBEC conducts an internal assessment that holds 40% weightage over total marks and an external assessment that holds 60% weightage over total marks in theory papers. But in practical papers the ratio is inverted.

Ques. How is the internal assessment conducted at BBSBEC?

Ans. BBSBEC conducts three class tests for internal assessment during the semester i.e., 24 marks are assigned to class tests (best two out of three), 10 marks are assigned to assignment and tutorial sheets and 6 marks are based on class attendance.

Ques. Is it mandatory to attend the classes to be eligible for BBSBEC end semester exams?

Ans. Yes, BBSBEC has a strict policy for attending classes and conducts a minimum of 90 days in each semester. Each candidate is required to attend a minimum of 75% of the classes to be eligible to appear in the examination of the subject. 

Ques. Does BBSBEC refund exam fees if any students are unable to attend the exam?

Ans. No, BBSBEC does not refund any exam fees in such cases and require a medical certificate for the reason behind the absence.
