Who Is Eligible for the Third Merit List?

Only candidates who registered earlier on the Samarth portal are eligible. Applicants without seats in the first two rounds are considered. Fresh preference changes made earlier are also included.

How Is the Merit List Prepared?

CCSU prepares the merit list using the marks entered during registration. Category, reservation policy and seat matrix at each college are applied. Candidate preference order decides the final college and programme allotted.

Ties are resolved through university tie-breaking rules where needed. The final list is then published on the Samarth portal for verification.

What Documents Are Required at the Time of Admission?

Candidates should keep the following documents ready for verification.

  • Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Graduation mark sheets and degree for PG applicants
  • Transfer and character certificate from the last institution
  • Category certificate for reserved category candidates
  • Domicile certificate where applicable for state quota seats
  • Recent passport-size photograph and a valid photo ID

  2. Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
  3. Enter the registered application number and password.

  3. Click on the admission fee payment link on the dashboard.

What Happens After the Fee Payment?

The seat is provisionally confirmed once the fee is paid. The allotted college will share reporting details by email or SMS. Candidates must then visit the college for original document verification.

Missing the reporting window can lead to seat cancellation. Applicants should carry printouts of the allotment letter and fee receipt. These will be checked at the verification counter.

Why This Round Matters

The third merit list is the last centralised round for 2026-27. Missing the confirmation window can forfeit the allotted seat. The seat may then move to the next waitlist candidate.
