CENTAC has started NEET PG Round 2 registration and choice filling for MD/MS admissions 2025–26 in Puducherry.

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry has officially started Round 2 registration and course preference filling for NEET PG Medical (MD/MS) admissions 2025–26. As per the latest notice issued on December 16, 2025, eligible candidates can submit willingness, pay the registration fee, and fill fresh course preferences within the given timeline.
Candidates allotted seats in Round 1, whether joined or not, are also allowed to participate. The round also includes a newly introduced MD course, making this phase important for aspirants.

- Round 2 registration fee payment and fresh choice filling will close at 5:00 PM on December 20, 2025.
The Round 2 registration, fee payment, and choice filling process will remain open from December 16 to December 20, 2025 (till 5:00 PM). Candidates who wish to resign from their Round 1 allotted seat without forfeiture must submit their resignation request on or before December 19, 2025 (5:00 PM).
All candidates who have registered with CENTAC, including those allotted seats in Round 1 (joined or not joined), are eligible for Round 2 counselling. There is no restriction based on Round 1 allotment status, provided the registration requirements are fulfilled.
CENTAC has added MD Emergency Medicine as a new course in Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMCH), Puducherry. This course is now available for selection while filling Round 2 course preferences.
What is the Registration Fee for CENTAC NEET PG Round 2?
Candidates must pay the registration fee based on the quota selected:
- Government Quota (Puducherry residents)
- GE/OBC/MBC/EBC/BCM/BT: ₹25,000
- SC/ST: ₹10,000
- Management Quota / Management Quota – Telugu Minority / Both GQ & MQ / NRI
- All categories: ₹2,00,000
Candidates opting for both Government and Management Quota seats must pay ₹2,00,000. Payment can be made through Net Banking or NEFT/RTGS using the candidate dashboard.
Candidates who joined their Round 1 CENTAC seat and wish to withdraw without forfeiture must submit the Resignation Request Letter (Annexure-11) through their login dashboard by December 19, 2025, 5:00 PM.
