CENTAC NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration Deadline Extended; Check How to Apply

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry, has extended the last date of application for admission to UG NEET courses for the academic year 2026-2027. As per the official notice dated August 6, 2026, candidates can now submit their online applications on the official website at centacpuducherry.in till August 8, 2026.

The extension covers admission to the M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.A.M.S. and B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses under National, Service Category and NRI seats in Puducherry. Eligible candidates must hold a valid NEET UG 2026 All India Rank issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The Puducherry state-quota counselling is conducted online by CENTAC based on the candidate's NEET UG 2026 score and rank. Merit lists, choice filling and seat allotment rounds will follow the close of the registration window.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency, are eligible. Applicants must meet the residency and category norms set by CENTAC for Puducherry state-quota seats.

For NRI seats, applicants must satisfy the NRI eligibility criteria defined in the CENTAC UG NEET 2026-27 Information Brochure. Age and academic requirements follow the National Medical Commission and Dental Council of India rules.

How to Apply for CENTAC NEET UG 2026 Counselling?

Candidates who missed the earlier cutoff now have a fresh window until August 8, 2026. The application is entirely online through the official CENTAC portal.

1. Visit the official website at centacpuducherry.in.
2. Click on the UG NEET 2026 admission link on the homepage.
3. Register using your NEET UG 2026 roll number and application number.
4. Fill in personal, academic and category details as per the brochure.
5. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
6. Pay the application fee online and submit the form.
7. Download the confirmation page for future reference.

Which Courses and Seats Are Covered?

The extended window applies to all UG medical, dental, ayurveda and veterinary courses under CENTAC. Seats include government and self-financing quotas across Puducherry-based institutions.

• M.B.B.S. seats in government and private medical colleges of Puducherry.
• B.D.S. seats in Puducherry dental colleges.
• B.A.M.S. seats in ayurveda institutions.
