COMEDK 2026 Round 4 Choice Filling for BTech Live at comedk.org; Check Last Date to Submit

The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has opened the Round 4 choice filling window for BTech candidates. The facility is live on the official portal at comedk.org. Choice filling for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 counselling started on August 26, 2026, at 2 PM. The window will close on August 28, 2026, at 4 PM.

Round 4 is the final counselling stage for the ongoing UGET 2026 seat allotment cycle. It is meant for candidates who still hold vacant seat options across member colleges.

Who Can Take Part in Round 4?

Two candidate categories can participate in this counselling round. The first group already holds a Round 3 seat with an upgrade preference. The second group is receiving an allotment for the first time.

Candidates with an Accept and Upgrade or Reject and Upgrade status face a strict rule now. Their status will convert automatically to Accept and Freeze in Round 4. They must report to the newly allotted college without any delay.

First-time allottees have two clear choices in this round. They can pick Accept and Freeze to lock the seat. They can also select Reject and Withdraw to exit the process.

How to Fill Choices for COMEDK Round 4?

Candidates must log in with their UGET application number and password. The vacant seat matrix and updated cut-off ranks are listed on the portal. Preferences can be added, reordered, or removed before the final lock step.

Applicants should submit their final list well before 4 PM on August 28. Late entries will not be accepted after the window closes. The locked choices decide the seat allotment on September 1, 2026.

Penalty for Not Reporting After Allotment

COMEDK has issued a firm warning on Round 4 reporting rules. A candidate who does not join the allotted college will face action. The full counselling fee paid so far will stand forfeited.

An additional penalty of five times the fee amount will also apply. Candidates should therefore plan their travel to the allotted college in advance.

4. Lock and submit your final preferences before August 28, 2026, at 4 PM.
5. Check the seat allotment result on September 1, 2026 on the portal.
6. Report to the allotted college on or before September 8, 2026.
