COMEDK UGET 2027 is the entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in private unaided colleges across Karnataka. The full form is Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test. COMEDK has been running this single-window merit test since the 2004 to 2005 academic year.

When two students score the same total, COMEDK applies these rules in order:
- Fewer wrong answers across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics get the better rank.
- If still tied, a higher combined score in Physics and Mathematics wins.
- If still tied, a higher score in Mathematics alone wins.
- If still tied, the older student gets the better rank.
There is no qualifying cutoff in COMEDK UGET. Any student who scores at least 1 mark gets a rank. Only a zero score means no rank at all.
