How to Fill Choices for COMEDK Round 4 2026?
Candidates must log in to the official counselling portal within the choice filling window. The steps below explain the process in order.
- Visit the official COMEDK counselling portal at comedk.org.
- Log in using the registered application number and password.
- Open the Round 4 choice filling section on the dashboard.
- Select and arrange the preferred college and course choices.
- Lock the choices and save the confirmation page for records.
What Choice Options Are Available to Candidates?
The choice available in Round 4 depends on the candidate status carried forward from earlier rounds. COMEDK has specified three distinct scenarios in the official schedule.
Candidates with an Accept and Upgrade or Reject and Upgrade status from earlier rounds get only the Accept and Freeze option. Reporting to the allotted college is mandatory for these candidates. Candidates who chose Reject and Upgrade but received no seat exit the counselling process and receive a full fee refund.
Candidates who receive a seat for the first time in Round 4 can pick either Accept and Freeze or Reject and Withdraw. The chosen option cannot be changed once locked.
What Is the Fee Payment and Reporting Process?
Candidates who accept a Round 4 seat must pay the applicable tuition and counselling fees within the September 1 to September 3 window. Payment must be completed on the official COMEDK portal.
After successful payment, candidates must download the allotment letter and report to the allotted college. The reporting window closes on September 8, 2026 at 3 PM. Candidates should carry all original certificates and the required document set at the time of reporting.
COMEDK has advised candidates to make travel arrangements in advance. Candidates should also coordinate with the allotted institution for weekend and holiday reporting timings.
Failure to report within the deadline leads to forfeiture of tuition and other fees paid. COMEDK also levies a penalty equal to five times the fee amount on defaulters. Round 4 is the final counselling stage, so missed reporting cannot be recovered.
