The Institute of Company Secretaries will be conducting its first home-proctored Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2020 on August 29, 2020.

Candidates appearing for CSEET 2020, will be provided with login credentials via email or SMS. However, it is to be noted that the login credentials for mock tests may be different from the CSEET main test.

CSEET 2020: Technical Requirements to be ready beforehand

Since the candidates have to appear from their home, they should make sure that the below mentioned technical facilities are available beforehand, to avoid any technical glitches.

  • Latest version of Mozilla Firefox/ Google Chrome/ Microsoft Edge
  • Minimum 64 MB graphics memory 
  •  Multimedia Support 
  • 256 MB or above RAM for desktops and laptops, 1 GB or above RAM for Notebooks
  • Microphone 
  • Webcam (supporting minimum 320x240)
  • Per-user internet speed - upload: 1 Mbps, download: 1 Mbps
  • 1 GHz or faster x86-compatible processor, or Intel® AtomTM 1.6GHz or faster processor for notebooks

CSEET 2020: Online Test Process

Firstly candidates have to log in on the test-taking platform, post which there will be 2 levels of identity verification:

  1. Capture facial photo
  2. Display of admit card or valid ID proof

There will be live proctors who will be monitoring the candidates attempting CSEET 2020. In case, the proctor finds any unfair practice to be followed, they will immediately alert the candidate. If the instruction is not followed the candidate may be disqualified.

The major point to be noted while appearing for the online exam is that there will be no bio-breaks during the test. If any candidate takes a bio-break it will be treated as resorting to unfair means.

Candidates need not worry about network/ electricity connection, as they will be allowed to log in again and continue from the last attempted question if something mishappens. If it is not feasible to appear instantly for the online test, candidates shall be examined within the next 2 days with proper intimation and approval of the institute.
