The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) Polytechnic Engineering (PE) 2026 Mop-Up Round seat allotment result. The result is now live on the official portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Candidates who took part in the Mop-Up choice filling can download the allotment order along with the opening and closing ranks.
The Mop-Up Round is the final counselling stage held to fill vacant seats after Round 1 and Round 2. Allotted candidates must complete document verification and admission at the assigned institute on August 13 and 14, 2026. Missing the reporting window will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to Download the DCECE 2026 Mop-Up Seat Allotment Order?
The allotment order carries details of the allotted institute, branch, and category-wise rank. Candidates must carry a printed copy to the reporting centre. Follow the steps below to download it.

- Click on the DCECE (PE) 2026 Mop-Up Round Seat Allotment link.
- Enter your registration number, password, and security pin.
- View the allotted institute and branch on the screen.
- Download the allotment order and take a printout for reporting.
Who Should Report for Document Verification?
Only candidates allotted a seat in the Mop-Up Round need to report between August 13 and 14, 2026. Reporting must be done at the allotted institute, not at the board office. Candidates must reach the venue within the notified reporting window to secure admission.

What Happens If a Candidate Skips Reporting?
Failure to report on August 13 or 14, 2026 will lead to automatic cancellation of the allotted seat. The vacated seat may be offered to other candidates as per board rules. Candidates who accept the seat cannot return to earlier round allotments.
The Mop-Up Round is the last chance for candidates to secure a polytechnic seat in Bihar for the 2026 session. No further round is scheduled after this stage. Vacant seats after August 14 will be handled as per the board's residual seat policy.
