DHE Haryana UG Admission 2026 Last Date Extended; Check New Deadline

The Department of Higher Education, Haryana (DHE) has extended the undergraduate (UG) admission 2026-27 registration deadline. Candidates can now apply till July 12, 2026. The application window is live on the official portal at admissions.highereduhry.ac.in.

This marks the second extension granted by the department this cycle. The original registration window had opened on May 7, 2026, and was initially scheduled to close on May 31, 2026. 

The DHE conducts centralised UG admissions for state government and government-aided colleges. Selection is merit-based using Class 12 marks, and no common entrance examination is conducted for most general UG courses.

DHE Haryana Counselling Schedule 2026

The admission process consists of three counselling phases. Phases I and II are online, while Phase III is conducted physically and accepts late applications with additional fees.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Programme-specific subject and percentage requirements apply for different courses. Haryana domicile candidates receive reservation benefits under state quota rules, while open category seats are also available to applicants from other states.

2. Register using your mobile number and email for OTP verification.
3. Fill in personal and academic details carefully.
4. Upload required documents in the prescribed format.
5. Select preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
6. Submit the application before July 12, 2026, and download the confirmation page.
