Department of Higher Education (DHE), Odisha has released the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) first selection merit list on September 18, 2020. Direct Link below.

DHE Odisha first selection list is now available online on the official website of e-admission portal of SAMS (samodisha.gov.in). The merit list mentions names of candidates who can apply for Odisha Board admission in Class 11 for the academic year of 2020-21. 

DHE Odisha (SAMS) Admission 2020: Important Dates and Events 

Latest updates suggest 3,67,123 candidates applied online for admission while 3,55,921 candidates paid their registration fee till now. Such candidates will be eligible for admissions in 2,016 higher secondary schools (or Junior Colleges), along with Sanskrit, Self Finance and Vocational higher secondary schools.

As of now, students will need a passed high school certificate. The second merit list is likely to be out on October 3, based on which admission will be conducted from October 5-7.

Odisha Junior +2 Admission 2020: Check First Selection Merit List

Follow the steps below to check SAMS Odisha Plus Two first merit list:

1. Visit the official e-admission portal SAMS: samsodisha.gov.in
2. On the homepage, click on ‘higher secondary school Junior’ link.

3. Enter roll number and other details.

4. Click the ‘Submit’ button.

5. Merit list of the first selection will be displayed on the screen.

6. Save and take a print of it for future reference.

DHE Odisha: Class 11 (SAMS) Admission Process 

SAMS Odisha will release a total of three merit lists dates for which are mentioned below. After admissions through the first merit list, vacant seats will be filled through second and finally by the third merit list. 

Merit list will be prepared based on scores obtained by candidates in qualifying exams (secondary examination). Along with this, selection criteria includes choices filled and seats available accordingly. 

After DHE-SAMS releases the first merit list on September 18, 2020, students will be granted admission in allotted higher secondary schools. The admission process for the first merit list will continue from 21-26 September 2020. 

Students will be intimidated through online mode or via SMS (on registered mobile numbers), calls, emails or E-Space.
