Odisha Board Arts Stream Result(Sep 5): Check Direct Link, Apply for revaluation and Supplementary Exam
Odisha Board CHSE result for Arts stream have been declared today i.e. September 5, 2020. Candidates can check the result on the official website after 4:00 pm onwards. After the declaration of CHSE Odisha board results for class 12th, application for rechecking and re-evaluation has begun for science and commerce stream students. Students who are not satisfied with the allotted marks during the evaluation process, can apply for rechecking via council’s official website i.e. chseodisha.nic.in. The last date to apply for rechecking is September 5, 2020.
Odisha Board Results can be accessed through the official website by entering the board roll number mentioned on the admit card. Nearly 26000 candidates appeared in class 12 board under commerce stream. Previously, the results for senior secondary examinations were declared on July 29, 2020. The results for arts stream are still pending and it is likely to be announced by the third week of August, 2020.

Odisha Board Class 10 Result Analysis
Nearly 5.5 lakh candidates appeared in the class 10th exam of Odisha board. The total pass percentage was around 78%. A total of 680 schools had a pass percentage of 100% while 30 schools were failed to produce any successful candidate. In context to the grading system, a total of 1271 candidates passed the exam with A1 grade. The pass percentage of male and female candidates were 81.98% and 77.80% respectively. As far as numbers are concerned, around 215368 female candidates and 192501 male candidates were successful in the HSC examination.
Odisha Board Class 12 Result Analysis
Result for class 12 science and commerce stream have been released on August 12 and August 19, 2020 respectively. Around 70.21% candidates from science and 74.95% from commerce stream emerged successful in the exam. Nearly 25000 candidates passed the exam with first division marks. Around 24000 and 18000 candidates passed with second and third divisions respectively. The total number of candidates who appeared for class 12 board(science stream) was around 98000. The Nayagarh district emerged as the best performing district with a pass percentage of 86.51%. The government has also announced that a reward of 5000.00 INR will be provided to top 100 students under the ‘Mukhyamantri Medhabruti Yojana’. The results for commerce and arts stream are expected by the third week of August, 2020.

How to Check HSC and CHSE Results Online?
All the results will be available online on the official website of Odisha board. Candidates can check and download the results by following the steps mentioned below:

- Click on the concerned examination(CHSE or HSE)
- Enter the eight/nine digit board roll number
- Enter the 10-digit registration number(required only for CHSE results)
- Enter date of birth(required only for HSE result)

Odisha Board CHSE Exam Pattern
In the higher secondary exam there are 4 compulsory and one optional subject. Candidates can select the fifth subject as per their interest and the availability of optional subjects. The exam is conducted offline as a pen and paper based test. Total time allotted for one subject is three hours. Subjects which have mandatory practical sections are conducted in two phases. The practicals are conducted before the written examination. Usually it is the responsibility of the school to manage the practical exam. The final marking is done on the whole i.e. practical marks and theory marks are added up and then a final result is prepared. The language for the paper is English and Hindi. Odia can be opted as the language paper only.
Odisha Board HSC Exam Pattern
In the senior secondary examination there are five compulsory subjects including the language paper. Candidates can select Odia as the first language. The duration of examination is three hours and it is conducted offline as a pen and paper based exam. The process of bifurcation among the practical and theoretical section is similar to the CHSE exam pattern.
Odisha Board Marking Scheme
Every subject in class 10th and 12th carries 100 marks and the maximum marks on the whole is 500. The subject which has practical sessions contains 70 marks for written marks and 30 marks for practical. The bifurcation is similar in senior and higher secondary level. In every subject a candidate needs at least 30% marks to pass. Also, an aggregate of 33% is necessary to pass in the exam. If any candidate secured 30% in all subjects but did not secure 33% aggregate mark then S/he shall be considered as fail. In the same way if a candidate secured 33% overall marks but less than 30 in a subject then S/he have to appear for supplementary examination. The said structure will be the same for class 10 and class 12 board examinations.
Odisha Board Application Process
The registration forms for the senior and higher secondary examinations will be filled and submitted as prescribed by the school. All the candidates have to register through their school within the provided time frame. The registration fee shall also be submitted along with the application form in the school. The school will send all the applications to the board as per the schedule. The application form submission will ensure the issuance of admit card provided that the candidate is fulfilling all the eligibility criteria at the time of examination.
Odisha Board Intermediate Admission
The application form for admissions in Odisha Board Intermediate-first year has been released. Candidates can fill the online application form mentioning their preferred stream. The seats and the stream will be offered on the basis of the performance of candidate in secondary exam. The first merit list will be released on September 9, 2020. Candidates who will be selected in the first list can take admission between September 12 to September 18, 2020. The notification regarding second merit list will be released later.
Odisha Board Admit Card
The admit card for Odisha board exams usually release before 1-2 month from the date of examination. The admit cards are available in the concerned school and the candidates are required to collect it by visiting their school. Admit card is the most important document as without an admit card no candidate shall be allowed to take the exam. The admit card will be issued for a candidate as per the description provided by the school about attendance and pre-board exam results. Admit cards shall not be issued for the candidate who has not registered and submitted the application form for the exam. For the year 2021, the admit card is likely to be released by the month of January-February.
Revaluation and Scrutiny of Answer Sheet
If any candidate is not satisfied with the marks then S/he can apply for the revaluation of the answer sheet. In this process the marks allotted in the answer sheet are calculated again to assure the accuracy. If there will be any change in the marks then the updated mark sheet will be available for the candidate in the school as well as online. Marks can also decrease in the revaluation process. No claim for reduced marks shall be accepted by the board. Application for revaluation is available around a month after the declaration of results. Candidates can apply for revaluation online on the official website. The candidates are also required to pay the application fee for revaluation of the answer sheet. For each subject an amount of 200.00 INR is required to be paid by the candidate. The result of revaluation will be declared after a month from the last date of application.
Odisha Board Supplementary Examination
If any candidate failed in one or two subjects in the board exam then S/he can appear for supplementary examination. The syllabus for this exam is the same as the regular board exam. The application form for supplementary examination will be released after the declaration of result of scrutiny. As of now there is no information regarding the schedule of supplementary examination. The candidates who have already passed but want to improve their marks can also register for this exam. This will be termed as an improvement examination. The application process shall be the same as supplementary examination.
