The DME Gujarat has issued the schedule for the second round of PG Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses, which includes essential information such as rank lists, reporting mandates, and details of vacant seats available.

DME Gujarat Second Round Schedule for PG Ayurveda and Homeopathy Courses Out

New Delhi: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has issued the timetable for allocation and reporting related to the second round of PG Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses.

Along with this, the rank-wise results, final rank, the vacant seats after the completion of the second merit round, newly included positions, a list of applicants mandated to report to the assistance center, and the list of non-reported candidates from the first round have also been published.

Admission Procedure Guidelines for Round 2

In the second round of admissions, seats will be offered based on newly introduced vacancies, unreported seats from the first round, cancelled seats post the initial round, and any subsequent vacancies resulting from assignments to the mentioned seats.

To submit documents at the Help Center, candidates need to schedule an appointment in advance. During the printing of the Allotment Letter, the candidate can personally select the date and time for document submission.

The tuition fee payment is permissible through online transactions, cash, or Demand Draft made in favor of “ACPUGMEC,” payable at Gandhinagar. Payments can be made at designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC (the list of these branches is accessible on the admission committee’s website www.medadmgujarat.org) during regular banking hours (closed on banking holidays).

Admission Confirmation and Category Upgrades

Candidates who have confirmed their admission during the initial round of ACPPGMEC by fulfilling all necessary conditions and have not experienced any changes in their allotted subject or college in the subsequent round are not required to visit the help center.

Should a candidate, whether previously involved or not in the second round of admissions, experience an upgrade in the same college and subject due to a change in category (for instance, from ST/SC /SEBC /EWS to General category or from a PwD to a non-PwD seat), they do not need to visit the help center to confirm their admission.

Second Round Admission Process 

The candidate whose assigned seat has been altered (change in admitted subject and/or change in admitted college) in the second round is required to visit the help center for confirmation of admission to the second round.

To pay any variance in tuition fees, candidates can opt for online payment, cash, or Demand Draft made in favor of “ACPUGMEC” payable at Gandhinagar. This payment is to be carried out at the designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC (the list is accessible on the admission committee’s website @medadmgujarat.org), during banking hours (Closed on banking holidays). 

The fees will be adjusted based on the amount paid for admission to the first round. Any excess fees will be refunded at the conclusion of the entire admission process.

Candidates who have upgraded their allotment in the second round after confirming their admission in the 1st Round of ACPPGMEC must submit the following documents:

  1. Allotment Letter from ACPPGMEC of the 2nd Round
  2. Original Admission Order from ACPPGMEC of the 1st Round
  3. Photocopy of the receipt for payment of tuition fees/token amount in the 1st Round of ACPPGMEC
  4. Original receipt for payment of the difference in tuition fees, if applicable

The candidate who has been allocated a seat for the first time should complete the payment of tuition fees through online payment, cash, or Demand Draft. 

The payment should be made in favor of "ACPUGMEC," payable at Gandhinagar, at the designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC. (The list of these branches is available on the admission committee's website www.medadmgujarat.org) during banking hours (closed on banking holidays).

Additionally, the candidate is required to submit their original documents under

  1. ACPPGMEC's Allotment Letter
  2. Receipt of paid tuition fees for one term (6 months) in SFI Colleges / Rs. 20,000 (annual fees) for Government Colleges at Axis Bank
  3. BAMS/BHMS marksheets for all years
  4. Certificate verifying completion of a 12-month internship
  5. AIA-PGET-2023 Marksheet Copy
  6. Documentation indicating place and date of birth & proof of Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)
  7. Provisional / Permanent Registration from Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine OR Central Council of Indian Medicine / Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Gujarat State OR Central Council of Homoeopathy (Renewal Registration certificate if the previous Registration has expired)
  8. Caste certificate for SEBC, ST, and SC Categories issued by Authorities in Gujarat State
  9. Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) for SEBC Category issued by Authorities in Gujarat State as per Government norms issued after 01/04/2021
  10. EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Authorities in Gujarat State after 01/04/2021
  11. Passport Copy - for Dual/ Foreign Citizenship
  12. Photocopy of Disability Certificate issued by an Authorized Entity

Vacancy after the Completion of Merit Round 2:

There are a total of 54 vacant seats. Among them, PG Ayurveda has 25 vacancies, and PG Homeopathy has 29 vacancies.
