Programmes Covered Under CSAS UG 2026

The CSAS-UG portal facilitates admissions to 73 undergraduate programmes and more than 100 BA programme combinations offered across 67 Delhi University colleges. Admissions are conducted solely on the basis of CUET UG 2026 scores, subject to programme-specific eligibility criteria prescribed by the university.

Candidates must select only those programme-college combinations for which they are eligible. The university will remove ineligible choices during the merit preparation process. The college-wise and category-wise seat matrix has already been published on the admission portal to help students make informed choices.

How to Complete DU CSAS UG 2026 Phase 2 Registration?

Only candidates who have successfully completed Phase 1 can participate in Phase 2.

During this phase, candidates must map their CUET UG 2026 test papers with the subjects they studied and passed in Class 12. The university has clarified that only the language and domain-specific CUET papers corresponding to the Class 12 subjects will be considered while determining programme-specific eligibility and preparing merit scores.

Candidates can complete the process by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
  2. Log in using the credentials created during Phase 1.
  3. Map Class 12 subjects with the CUET UG 2026 papers attempted.
  4. Select eligible colleges and programmes.
  5. Arrange programme-college preferences in order of priority.
  6. Save preferences regularly before submitting the final application.
  7. Submit the application before 11:59 pm on July 11, 2026, and download the confirmation page for future reference.

The university has advised candidates to save their preferences frequently, as only saved choices will be considered during seat allocation.

What Happens After Phase 2 Registration?

Once candidates complete subject mapping and submit their programme and college preferences, the university will verify their eligibility based on the mapped CUET subjects.

Simulated ranks will be released on July 12, 2026, at 5 pm, allowing candidates to assess their admission prospects before the preference edit window opens from July 12 to July 13.

The first CSAS seat allocation list will be published on July 16, 2026, at 5 pm. Candidates allotted seats must accept them by July 18, after which colleges will verify documents by July 20. The deadline for payment of admission fees is July 21.

Over 82,900 Students Register During Phase 1

Delhi University has reported that 82,940 candidates had registered for undergraduate admissions through the CSAS portal as of Tuesday evening.

To streamline the admission process, the university has also introduced API Setu-based auto-integration of candidate details. Information such as the candidate's name, date of birth, photograph and signature is automatically fetched using the CUET UG 2026 application number, reducing manual data-entry errors and improving the security of the admission process.

The university is expected to announce the detailed schedule for the remaining admission rounds in the coming weeks.

Why This Matters

Phase 2 is the decisive stage where actual college and course choices are locked. Preferences saved here directly drive the July 16 seat allocation. A missed deadline or an unsaved preference can shut the door on a preferred college.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Log in to the CSAS UG portal and verify your Phase 1 details.
  • Map every Class 12 subject with the corresponding CUET UG 2026 paper.
  • Ensure that only eligible subject combinations are selected.
  • Review the college-wise and category-wise seat matrix before filling preferences.
  • Arrange programme and college choices carefully in order of preference.
  • Save preferences after every modification.
  • Use the correction window on July 10 and July 11 to rectify any errors.
  • Check simulated ranks on July 12 and modify preferences, if required, before the preference change window closes on July 13.
  • Download the final confirmation page after submitting your preferences.
Keep an Eye On

Simulated ranks on July 12 at 5 pm and the first CSAS seat allocation list on July 16 at 5 pm are the next big checkpoints.
