The Gautam Buddha University (GBU) has opened the MOP-UP Round 2026 applications for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions. Interested candidates can register on the official admissions portal at gbuadm.samarth.edu.in. The application window closes on August 17, 2026. The counselling-cum-admission session will be conducted on August 18, 2026 at the university campus.
The MOP-UP round is the final admission window for the 2026-27 session. It targets vacant seats left after the earlier admission phases. GBU is a state university located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Who Should Apply for the MOP-UP Round?
This round is for candidates left out of the earlier admission phases. It also covers students who missed the Phase 5 deadline on July 31. Seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to eligibility.
Candidates who did not apply in earlier rounds can register afresh. Registered candidates without an earlier seat allotment can also participate. Eligibility follows the official 2026-27 admission brochure norms for each programme.

The application process is fully online through the Samarth portal. Candidates should keep scanned documents and an online payment method ready before starting.

- Click on the new registration link on the homepage.
- Fill in personal, academic, and contact details in the form.
- Upload scanned photograph, signature, and required certificates.
- Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
What Should Candidates Carry for the Counselling?
Registered candidates must report to the GBU campus in Greater Noida. All original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies are required. Admission is confirmed only after document verification and fee payment at the venue.
- Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
- Graduation mark sheets and degree (for PG applicants)
- Category and domicile certificates, if applicable
- Passport-size photographs and a valid photo ID proof
- Printed application form and application fee receipt
