The Gurugram University (GU) has announced the open counselling round for 2026 admissions. The schedule is available on the official portal at gurugramuniversityadm.samarth.edu.in. It will fill vacant seats in four technical programmes.

Candidates who missed earlier admission rounds can now apply through the portal. The counselling covers BTech, BTech LEET, MCA and Integrated MCA courses.

Programmes Covered Under the Open Counselling

The round covers four technical programmes at GU. Each programme has a separate merit list based on the qualifying examination.

  • BTech (First Year): Four-year Bachelor of Technology programme after Class 12.
  • BTech Lateral Entry: Direct second year admission for diploma holders.
  • MCA (Two-year): Postgraduate Master of Computer Applications programme.
  • Integrated MCA (Five-year): Combined UG and PG programme after Class 12.

Who Is Eligible for the Open Counselling Round?

Eligibility for the open counselling depends on the programme chosen. Each course sets its own academic and entrance requirements.

  • BTech: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board.
  • BTech LEET: Three-year Diploma in Engineering or a BSc degree.
