The Haryana Higher Education Department will start an online process for admission to undergraduate classes at state colleges from 7 September for the academic year 2020-21. The session itself will begin on 6 October. The first merit list will be released on 26 September.
The department will conduct a centralized online admission for undergraduate classes for 2020-21. Under this, online admissions for all government, aided and self-financing colleges in Haryana will be held from 7 to 21 September. From 22 to 25 September, a merit list will be prepared after examining applications and documents. The fees for admission can be deposited by 29 September.

After the first merit list is released on 26 September, the second merit list will be released on 30 September, for which the fees have to be deposited between 1 and 5 October.
On Tuesday, at a meeting of the Haryana State Higher Education Council, it was decided that the pending final-year examinations of state government-aided colleges and universities will be held by the end of September. Around 200,000 students will take these examinations. The results for these examinations will be declared by 31 October.
Due to the pandemic, students have been given the option of taking the examinations online. However, for those students who will take the examinations offline, adequate safety measures will be taken and social distancing norms observed.
