The admission in IIMs is not a cake walk, it takes a lot of hard-work for any candidate to qualify the Common Admission Test (CAT), group discussion/ written ability test, personal interview.

CAT 2020 will be conducted on 29th November, 2020. CAT 2020 result will be declared in January 2021, IIMs will select students for the first round on the basis of CAT 2020 score, as you can clearly see in the above section the weightage of CAT is different for each IIM. CAT 2020 Selection Process in COVID-19
The pandemic has forced IIMs to bring changes in the selection process. IIMs are suggesting scrapping the Written Ability Test (WAT) completely and IIM Kozhikode has already scrapped WAT and has completely shifted its focus on personal interview.
