HPTU has released the HPCET 2026 Spot Round Counselling schedule on August 7 2026. The notification is live at himtu.ac.in and covers all UG and PG technical programmes including BTech BPharmacy MBA MCA and MTech.

The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has issued the Himachal Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (HPCET) 2026 Spot Round Counselling schedule. The notification was uploaded on August 7, 2026. It is available on the official website at himtu.ac.in. Candidates can download the schedule as a PDF from the notice board.

The Spot Round is the final counselling stage for HPCET 2026. It follows Rounds 1, 2 and 3 already conducted by HPTU. This round is meant to fill the seats that remain vacant. It covers both undergraduate and postgraduate technical programmes.

The Spot Round is open across all technical streams offered by HPTU. Both first-year entry and lateral entry candidates can participate. The programmes are grouped as UG and PG in the notification.

HPCET 2026 Counselling Registration Fee

The registration fee is category-based. Candidates must pay it online during Spot Round registration. The fee is non-refundable once paid.

Visit the official HPTU website at himtu.ac.in.
Open the Notice Board or Latest Notifications section.
Click on the link titled Spot Round Counselling Schedule.
Download the PDF and save it for reference.
Read all reporting dates, timings and the venue carefully.

Documents Required at the Spot Round

Candidates must carry originals and self-attested copies for verification. Missing any listed document may lead to cancellation. The exact list is confirmed in the official notification.

HPCET 2026 admit card and score card.
Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates.
Qualifying degree mark sheets for PG applicants.
Category certificate, if applicable, in the prescribed format.
Domicile or bonafide Himachali certificate, where required.
A valid photo ID such as Aadhaar card.
Recent passport size photographs and the fee receipt.

Why This Round Matters

The Spot Round is the last chance to secure a seat under HPCET 2026. Students not allotted a seat in earlier rounds can still apply here. Fresh candidates who missed earlier rounds may also be eligible, subject to the notification.
