HSTES Institute Level Counselling 2026 Schedule Released at hstes.org.in; Check Diploma Admission Procedure

The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Haryana has released the schedule for Institute Level Manual Counselling 2026 for Diploma Engineering and Diploma Engineering Lateral Entry admissions. The counselling will be held for admission against vacant and leftover seats in Government, Government Aided, and Self Financing Polytechnics of Haryana for the 2026-27 session.

Candidates interested in admission can contact the concerned Government, Government Aided, or Self Financing Polytechnic in Haryana to participate in the manual counselling process. The instructions and list of polytechnics are available on the official HSTES website.

HSTES Diploma Institute Level Manual Counselling 2026 Dates

After the first Institute Level Manual Counselling, the concerned polytechnics may conduct another round of manual counselling for filling the remaining vacant seats, if any. This will be allowed only up to the cut-off date mentioned in the Diploma Prospectus 2026.

Courses Covered Under HSTES Manual Counselling 2026

The manual counselling is only for the following courses:

• Diploma Engineering
• Diploma Engineering Lateral Entry

Admissions will be offered only against vacant or leftover seats available at the respective polytechnics. The counselling will be conducted at the institute level by the concerned polytechnic.

How Merit Will Be Prepared?

For admission through Institute Level Manual Counselling, the concerned institute will prepare a fresh Inter-se-Merit / Rank list. This merit list will be prepared on the basis of the qualifying examination of the candidates.

The official notice also states that the Inter-se-Merit / Rank declared by HSTES for centralized online counselling will not be considered for this institute-level round. The merit list of the concerned course must also be hosted on the institute website along with contact details of the admission team.

How to Apply for HSTES Diploma Manual Counselling 2026?

Candidates must contact the concerned polytechnic institute directly for participation in the counselling process. The institute will invite applications along with the required documents at its own level.

The counselling schedule must also be displayed on the website of the concerned polytechnic for the information of aspiring candidates. Candidates should check the institute website and follow the instructions issued by that institute.

Documents Required for HSTES Institute Level Manual Counselling

Candidates will have to submit the relevant documents as required by the concerned institute. The official instructions mention documents such as qualifying documents, sub-category certificate, income and asset certificate, and PPP ID, wherever applicable.

The final document verification will be done as per the Diploma Prospectus 2026. After checking the documents, the institute will issue a provisional admission slip and upload the admission details on the HSTES intra portal during the admission process.
