The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has extended the deadline for the CA July 2020 exams opt-out facility.
Earlier, ICAI provided CA students the facility to opt-out for their exams in July. The last date to submit choices to opt-out of the exam has been extended till June 30.
ICAI has stated that In view of feedback received from the students who have already submitted online examination application for May 2020 Examination, it has decided that the request of students for allowance of some more time for exercising the Opt-Out option be extended till 30th June 2020 (Tuesday) up to 11.59 PM.
Following the facility provided by ICAI, students who want to avail the “Opt-Out” option and wish to carry forward their candidature to the November exam cycle may apply for opt-out option & must submit a declaration online at https://icaiexam.icai.org latest by 30th June 2020 (Tuesday) up to 11.59 PM.
Moreover, ICAI has said that students must make sure that once they decide to use the Opt-out facility, their decision will be treated as final and no request for its change will be entertained under any circumstances.
For students who choose not to opt-out of the exam, the ICAI will conduct exams from July 29.
