Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the guidelines to be followed by the candidates and Examination Futionaries for CA Examination November 2020.
In view of the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, certain precautionary measures have to be taken to prevent the spread.
ICAI has announced that they are taking all the precautions for the safe and secure conduct of the CA November 2020 examination.

ICAI CA Exam November 2020: Safety Measures
ICAI stated that 505 exam centres were allotted for the CA Examination May 2020 which is now increased to 915 exam centres.
To make it easy for the candidates to take exams within their districts, exam centres have been added to 192 additional districts.

In the view of COVID - 19, ICAI said that they will implement adequate social distancing and take all the adequate measures for the safety of all without compromising the high standards, sanctity and fairness in the conduct of the examination.
ICAI CA Exam November 2020: Standard Operating Procedures
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) implemented by ICAI for the safety precautions and to maintain a standard of hygiene are mentioned below:
- Before the beginning of the examination, the seating area, staircase and door handles will be adequately sanitized and candidates can use their own hand sanitizer if they wish to sanitize it more.
- Candidates can carry their own hand sanitizer, face shield and hand gloves for further safety precautions.
- Seating arrangements will be made following proper social distancing norms.
- Thermo Scanning for temperature-check will be done to all the candidates and exam functionaries at the entrance.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance and inside the exam venue for all the candidates and exam functionaries.
- Candidates appearing for the examination must wear a face mask. It is mandatory and candidates will not be allowed inside the exam hall without it.
- Face shield, hand gloves and hand sanitizer are optional and candidates can carry them inside the examination hall.
- Candidates can carry a transparent water bottle and other exam related documents such as calculator, admit card, photo ID card and stationery items.
