ICAR AIEEA PG Counselling 2026 to Begin on September 29; Check Registration Steps

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has announced the AIEEA PG 2026 counselling schedule. The All India Quota (AIQ) counselling will begin on September 29, 2026. Registration will open at the official portal, icarcounseling.com.

The Agricultural Education Division released the public notice on September 25, 2026. ICAR conducts this counselling for master's admissions in agricultural sciences. Nearly 3,489 PG seats are open across 74 partner universities.

The counselling covers all Postgraduate (M.Sc.) programmes except the Veterinary stream. Veterinary seats fall under the parallel AICE JRF/SRF PhD counselling cycle. Both streams share the same official portal for registration and allotment.

ICAR AIEEA PG Counselling 2026 Key Details

Candidates must hold a valid AIEEA PG 2026 rank card to register. The registration fee is a one-time, non-refundable charge. A separate seat acceptance fee applies after allotment.

Who Is Eligible for AIEEA PG 2026 Counselling?

Candidates must hold a four or five-year B.Sc. Agriculture degree. General and OBC candidates need a minimum of 60 percent marks. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates need at least 50 percent marks.

A valid AIEEA PG 2026 rank card is mandatory for participation. Candidates without a qualifying rank cannot register on the portal. Round-wise schedules will be published on the counselling portal separately.

9. Download the provisional allotment letter from the portal.
10. Report to the allotted university with original documents.

Candidates should keep the following papers ready in scanned form. Missing or unclear documents can delay verification during reporting. Original copies must be produced at the allotted university.

• Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets

• Transfer certificate from the last institution

ICAR National Talent Scholarship for PG Candidates

Selected merit candidates can avail the ICAR National Talent Scholarship. The scholarship value is around Rs 12,640 per month for eligible scholars. It supports students admitted through the AIQ route in partner universities.
