ICMAI Exam 2020: CMA Intermediate, Final Exam to be conducted online in December

According to the official notice released by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India the merged exams of June and December of ICMAI CMA examinations will be conducted in December in an online mode.

For the same, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India has provided some options for the students to attempt the examination. Candidates can choose any one of them according to their convenience.

A link has been provided along with the official notice through which the candidates can select the preferred choice. The last date to fill the choices and other details mentioned in the link is 12 November 2020.

Following are the options available for the students to attempt the examination:

Center-based online examination -Candidate can go to the allotted center to write the examination in an online mode.
Home-based online examination - Candidates can attempt the examination from home via any one of the electronic devices such as laptops or mobile phones.
Opt-out exam - Candidates can restrain themselves from attempting the examinations and request to carry forward the payment into the next term and write the exam later.

The candidates who will choose the home-based online mode for examination must check their system in the link to know if they are eligible to take the exam through the preferred mode.

In-use contact details such as updated mobile number, email id must also be added in the link along with the selection of options on the link.

Other details that have been asked include internet bandwidth, power, etc. Candidates who fail to fill in these options will be automatically redirected to the center-based online mode option.

From the news section, click on the link which says ‘Important Notification for online Intermediate and Final Examination of December 2020’
A new window will open which will consist of the official notice along with the links of the forms that are to be filled.
Click on the link and a list of instructions will appear on the screen.
The candidate must read all the instructions carefully and click on ‘Next’.
A window that will have options to select will appear on the screen.
Candidates must note that the link for intermediate and final examinations are separate.

The ones who have selected the option of center-based online mode will receive an admit card which will consist of details about the exam center. It is mandatory for the candidate to carry their admit cards to the center

The admit card has to be downloaded from the official website. However, the login credentials for the mock test will be mailed to the candidates prior to the examination.

Candidates can not change the options after they have selected them and hence, they are advised to be careful while filling the forms.
