| Physical Reporting and Document Verification | August 20 and 21, 2026 | August 10, 2026 |

Who Needs to Report on These Dates?
UG admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur happen through five official counselling routes. These are JoSAA, CSAB, UCEED, SII and DASA. Students allotted seats through any of these routes must report physically. Late reporting can lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.
PG intake covers three main streams for the new session. M.Tech candidates join through CCMT counselling. M.Des seats fill through Direct Admission and the SPOT Round. Ph.D. scholars must also complete reporting on the notified date.
Documents Required at Reporting
Candidates must carry originals and self-attested photocopies of the following documents.
- Admission letter and seat allotment letter from the counselling body
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
- JEE Main scorecard and admit card for UG candidates
- GATE or CEED scorecard for eligible PG candidates
- Graduation degree and marksheets for PG candidates
- Transfer, character and migration certificates from the last institute
- Category certificate for OBC, SC, ST or EWS applicants
- Medical fitness certificate signed by a Senior Medical Officer
- Anti-ragging and anti-drug declarations filed online
- Aadhaar card copy and five recent passport-sized photographs
PG category certificates must be issued after April 1, 2026 to be valid. The anti-ragging declaration must be filed at antiragging.in. Candidates should carry the printed acknowledgement to the reporting desk.
How to Complete the Reporting Process?
Reporting will happen physically at the IIITDM Jabalpur campus in Dumna. Students must reach the notified reporting desk on the scheduled date. Officials will verify all originals against the submitted photocopies. Fee payment proof and hostel forms may also be requested at the desk.
The institute will confirm enrolment after successful document verification is complete. Students will then move to hostel allotment and orientation activities. Missing any required document may delay the enrolment process.
Parent Accommodation on Campus
IIITDM Jabalpur runs a Visitors' Hostel on campus with a limited number of rooms. Parents may request a stay before August 1, 2026. Requests must be emailed to vh@iiitdmj.ac.in for approval. The Visitors' Hostel will not be open during the reporting window itself.
Families should plan for external stay in Jabalpur city for the reporting days. Booking hotels early is advised as demand rises during admission season.
Whom to Contact for Queries?
The institute has shared multiple channels for admission-related queries. Students can email admissions@iiitdmj.ac.in for general questions. PG queries can be sent to pgacademic@iiitdmj.ac.in. The phone helplines are 0761-2794035 and 0761-2794036. A WhatsApp helpline is also active on 6268371310.
The support desk operates on weekdays between 10 AM and 5 PM.
IIITDM Jabalpur admits UG students through five separate national counselling routes. The list includes DASA for foreign nationals and NRIs. This wider gateway sets it apart from many peer engineering institutes.
